Help your body and your mind by exercising


Exercising is a great way to alleviate stress. According to womens, "Exercise can decrease muscular tension, loosen tight muscles and decrease the body chemicals that are brought on by stress. It also stimulates brain activity patterns that are associated with meditation and relaxation."

There are many ways to work out instead of just having to go to the gym. Just to name a few. Riding your bike, (while enjoying a breeze) is nice. Going out dancing could help take stress away as well.

It is also important to exercise not only for our psychological well being but also for our physical well being. Exercising could: (Information taken from

This site contains a program to help you relax at home. I tried it myself and found it to be pretty interesting. By the end of the exercise, I did feel more at ease. The program starts with a "Getting Loose" exercise and then it is followed with "Breathing Easy."
